Basic Installation of SuSe 10:
SuSe 10 installation could not be easier. Just pop in the first CD, select F2 if you want sharp graphics during installation and choose custom resolution 1280x800, watch it auto-resize your ntfs partition, auto-partition, auto-install pre-selected packages! I love this distro. I wont say it the 'best' Linux distro I have seen to date, but I will say it is the 'easiest'. Absolutely no after installation tweaks where needed to get hardware working. After installation, you might appreciate installing apt4suse and apt-get update your entire system. This is useful if you favor bleeding edge software over stable software.
Unresolved issues:
Modem does not work (Toshiba/Realtek/Agere Please release a driver for this chipset!)
Configuration Files
I did not need to manually modify any files, however, I am posting some settings just in case someone with another distro needs it.
